Evie and Riley blog:
We have made houses out of cardboard boxes, because our topic is all about ‘The Great Fire of London’. We took them outside and Mrs Pearson brought the fire bucket with her and then she set them alight! We were trying to see what it would have looked like in 1666 when London was burning! Some of us were sad when we saw the flames. The next group went to Forest School and others then painted the houses. We’ve been adding and subtracting in maths this week using our crocodile signs to show which is more and which is less. In English we’ve written a story all about the Great Fire and how we felt when we saw them burning. We have had dance today, we played copy cat and corners. It’s good fun and we enjoy it.
