Reece, Keeley and Dominik blog:
We had the RNLI crew come to school, they showed us flags that told where you could swim and be safe: if it was foggy would show a red flag. They taught us how to get help if we were in difficulties in the water. They wrapped some of us in the rescue tube; it is used to pull people into shore when they’ve been hurt at sea. Year six came to our class and we used the smoke machine: we made smoke rings. It was very good fun. Some of us made Snickerdoodles in cooking this week – they were delicious! They are soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. We shared them with our families who thought they were lovely. We’ve been studying about Romans and looked at how they dressed and their armies. We got our marble jar full yesterday and had a lovely treat. In PPA we had some colouring.
