Laila-May and Keaton blog:
We went to the old wartime house in Sittingbourne – we saw the shelters and what it would have looked like in WW2. It was enjoyable. We have been doing persuasive writing, suggesting people use rationing. We all wore hats today to raise money for brain tumour awareness. We are practising our class assembly for next week – half of us are doing evacuee and the others air-raid shelters. Its going very well and we are looking forward to doing it in front of the school. In science we have been looking at what is metal and what isn’t. We’ve been looking at magnetic sources and checking which metals are conductors and insulators. We have had some CAT tests this week, it was maths and testing our ability to choose shapes. Yesterday we went into the hall and we had visitors, who taught us all about child line and about abuse. It was very interesting.
