We had the Kent Test this week, it was ok.  We have been really busy with Science.  We had some experiments on what material would be best for a lunch box.  We tried nylon, silk, cotton wool and paper to see which material kept the ice coolest.  We tested it in five minute intervals and then we measured with a thermometer.  We had to write up the experiment after finding nylon was the best and then design our own lunch box.  We had ICT learning on-line internet safety – so we know the site is safe when we see https, green and padlocked.  We have been rounding numbers in maths, it’s kind of easy. We are enjoying our new book ‘ The Firework Makers Daughter’.  We are learning about the Shang Dynasty -where it is in China and all the countries surrounding it. We were paired up with our buddies this week, we showed all around the school and how it works in the hall.  They were a little nervous at first but now they are having good fun.  On Monday we are taking them out onto the field.   We are doing our spelling frame on our new iPads – it’s good fun. We now have our new log-ins and we can start using the games.
