Being able to speak a foreign language is a vital skill for our children’s future. At Teynham Primary School we focus on French, with children taking part in language sessions throughout the terms from Years 3-6. Our aim is, that by the end of Year 6, they will be able to interact with others in real-life situations. This will include being able to talk about themselves, ask for and follow directions, understand and order food, ask for help and express their likes and dislikes.

We follow the Twinkle Languages scheme, which engages children through the use of games, songs, spoken and written tasks.
