FOX CLASS BLOG TERM 3

Last Friday we had rail safety day, during this day we spoke a lot about how to keep ourselves and others safe around trains, stations and the tracks. The whole school did different activities to explore and show how to be safe in different ways. We created posters, podcasts and films. Did you know that a train weighs the same as 80 elephants? And they travel at speeds of 125mph.

This term we have been reading the Secret Garden, a wonderful book about a horrid young girl with a troubled upbringing who is sent to live with distant relative where she makes a discovery…

We have been working hard on our multiplication and division and now we know how to use formal written method and bus stop up to 4 digits!

You can test me on some questions like this at home.

In Jigsaw we have been thinking about our dream and goals for the future. We have been thinking about other cultures and how our dreams are similar and different.

In topic we are learning about allotments and farming in the UK and worldwide. As spring is approaching we will be planting some of our own vegetables.

We have enjoyed looking at lights and shadows in art and exploring different techniques and materials.
