This week we participated in an African drumming workshop with a man who was born in Ghana – he has been drumming since he was 7 years old. It was really fun but very noisy. We performed in front of the whole school and all of the teachers were asked to dance which was really funny!

In science we have been looking at circulatory system and this week we recreated blood by using syrup, oil, food colouring and milk. Blood is made up of 4 different components: red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets.

We have also been busy rehearsing for our class play next Tuesday which is based on the courageous story of Harriet Tubman. We can’t wait to preform it to the rest of the school and our parents.

We have ended our week with Challenge Day which required us to play a real-life version of Cluedo with the whole school. We had to visit different locations around school to find out clues. All of the suspects were staff and they were all acting suspicious. We can’t wait to find out who did it.
